Hi
Just bought a 1993 panda 1000 had it on the ramp today and spotted corrosion in the inside of the sill right at the back near the wheel arch the trouble is the the rear subframe mount is in the way just wondering the best way to approach it I'm sure it's a very common repair
Thanks
Andrew

Got a picture? I assume the bit that is essentially inner sill opposite the rear trailing arm mount is what you're on about, the best way to get it is going to be to cut off the outer sill, weld up all of the inner sill, then weld on new outer sills, in reality that's going to be something for when it majorly majorly goes wrong... it's nigh on impossible to get up in there unless you cut off the sill or the mount (don't recommend that) so to get it through an MOT you can weld a plate halfway up the trailing mount onto the bottom lip of the sill where it meets but bear in mind that's covering up the rust and not structurually welding it

Hi Andrew,
unfortunately to you the best and only one way to sort this area is by removing the outer sill, inner strenghtening plate.
this area can be repaired from outside but only to certain level.
few photograpsh would be helpfull.
