Hi guys, here we go again. Panda 4x4 1988 i.e. cat.
So, the story goes like this. The day before yesterday I used the car without a problem. Yesterday I also had to use the car, and drove to the shops.
When I was done about ten minutes later the car wouldn't start. I had to wait about 30 minutes and then it started fine.
So I drove about a mile to another shop to get things, and the same happened there, didn't start in the parking lot, wait about 20 and then start, only to die again about 500 yards later. So again, wait 20, start and go.
Then after driving maybe 2 miles the throttle just stopped responding, and the car slowly came to a halt (in a very bad spot so now I'm scared to use the friggin car).
This time I waited about an hour and then I could drive the rest of the way home which was about 7 miles.
Since this is a problem one day old I don't have a clear view of the symtoms but it seems to me that the car won't start when hot. What confuses me is that it died mid-drive as well.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
