Im thinking of downsizing my pandas again...last time I was thinking of selling a panda - I sold a cinq instead!.:)

So - I have a 1993 Panda Fizz (green version), standard except stereo, and a 1242cc punto engine. Because of the engine, I have no idea how much I should be looking at selling. Never had a bigger engine in a Panda before, Ive had her for about 11 years, and was my daily car for years, but not used her much in the last year and insurance is due in September.

Any ideas would be good, Once I have rough idea on price, then will get an ad together. 12 months MOT etc.

Thanks
Fozzy

Just curious, 1242cc 8V or 16V. ??

Hi Keith, long time no see! With a modified engine you need to ensure the paper work is all in order. Has the v5 been changed to show its had an upgraded engine? If it does it'd make it easier to sell. Regarding prices I'd doubt you'd get much more than a standard panda. blu73 may be able to aid further as he's just recently converted a Panda himself.

changing the v5 is easy peasy if its not done.. just need to fill in the V5 and send it in with a receipt for buying said engine. Clearly most people dont have this but I made my own receipt up and printed it out. Just make sure you write somewhere on the imaginary receipt what the engine number is ;)

Value wise i dont think the engine swap should make it worth any more or less really. I mean a proper picky person who wants everything original maybe it'd lose value but i dont think it will gain any value at all by having the bigger engine. Its value really comes from the condition of the shell like any other panda (or at least thats how i see pandas).
