Hi, Just thought I'd let everyone know that I have just driven my Panda 40 back up through Spain and France to the Uk. and are now in the process of registering it here, as I understand it , this car will be the only one here. I am based in Long Eaton ( just off junction 24 M1 ), so if anyone is coming this way I'd be glad to say hi and show them the car. I intend to show the car at local events and dare I say, use it. To see the car check out my photos.

Hi, i too have a continental Panda with the 1108cc spi FIRE engine. It was first registered in France in 2001 and is now in UK and I too am going through registration and am trying to get a Certificate of Conformity(CoC) to finalise some details.
I am local to you as I'm in Swadlincote
Cheers

I am also going to be going through the registration process with our latest purchase, a 1980 Panda 30. I'm not too far away in Stoke.

You do not need a certificate of conformity on any car over 10 years old, you either need the registration document from where the car was registered or a dating certificate from an appropriate club or the manufacturer. The Fiat Motor Club can help with that.

Hi Ian and Dragon Man, you are both very welcome to come and see the car whenever you want, I'm just waiting for the new registration number to come through, then I'll be out and about enjoying it. Before I left Spain I treated all the cavities and inside the doors with wax so fingers crossed with the rust, as this car has none !. I'm not here over this weekend and next week, but will be back by the 11th August so give me a call and it will be great to catch up with fellow Panda nuts.
