Back for the 4th time, I will be once again hosting what has become our annual weekend in the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District!
We will be following a similar plan to all the previous years, basing ourselves at my home and making use of our holiday lets that have been kept available for you all to stay in during the weekend. More details on this below.
The Plan
Friday 28th
For those who can make it on Friday afternoon/evening, Steve Sjvarley is planning an evening run out and pub meal. Exact times and details to be confirmed closer to, but as a guide anyone wising to join this would need to be arriving by 5pm.
Saturday 29th
In a change to previous years we are hoping to depart earlier on Saturday morning to get in as much laning as possible. For anyone who wishes to arrive later we will have a predefined lunch stop where everyone can meet up. Again details are to be confirmed on this in the coming weeks.
Saturday evening will be the usual BBQ and bonfire back at base.
Sunday 30th
This time we are planning more greenlanes on Sunday, rather than the pay and play as in previous years. However these dates were chosen so that the quarry will be open should anyone want to visit. Either way we will aim for a mid afternoon finish to give everyone plenty of time for their journeys home.

Accommodation
As said above our holiday cottage will be our base for the weekend and rooms will be available to rent.

The cottage can sleep up to 19 people in 8 rooms in the following configuration:
6x Twin or Double rooms
1x Bunk Room with 1x single and 1x bunk bed
1x Family Room with 1x double and 2x singles
Cost is £100 per room for 3 nights over the weekend (Friday to Monday)
Four of the twin/double rooms are already booked so anyone who would like a room please let me know as soon as possible!
Of course we are also happy to have people camping in the garden, but request that anyone camping who uses the facilities in the cottage pays £10 to cover our costs.
There is of course a good number of other B&Bs and hotels available locally also. We are in the ST13 area postcode near to Leek and Stoke on Trent.
