Arrival Day: Monday, May 7th 2018
Departure Day: Friday, May 11th 2018

Hello all,

We are once again organising an off-road meet in the heart of the welsh countryside at Llanerchindda Farm in Carmarthenshire. The farm features first-class accommodation and service in a quiet and secluded setting amongst the Welsh valleys. With a large main building, a large guest house and a small cottage there is plenty of space for all of us. On site there is also an excellent private off-road course available to use whenever we want. As well as this there are sheds available in which to work on vehicles if (when) required, and also a jet wash area to clean off the cars at any point.

Last year was the first event of this kind that we have done and it was so successful that we have decided to do it again!

This time around we have an extra day in which to explore more green lanes and take in the beauty of the countryside.

The plan in brief
Monday will be our arrival day, as before we leave the schedule free for this day allowing people a stress-free target for arrival. If people arrive in good time though, there is likely to be time available to play on the off-road course.
Tuesday to Thursday will be our exploring and green laning days out in in the countryside. The hosts at the farm have comprehensive routes available for each day, we organise our days with help from them when we have all arrived.
Friday is departure day, but we will be planning to spend atleast a couple of hours on the off-road course before all heading our separate ways.

What you will need
To join in the meet you will need a Panda 4x4 of ANY year, or if you are not bringing a car to drive you must have a pre-arranged seat in someone elses car. As far as the car setup goes you will not need anything special, lift-kits and off-road tyres are classed as a bonus. We will plan days to include everyone, no one will be left out. CB Radios are not a necessity on this trip but it would help you massively to have one on board.
Breakfast and evening meals are provided and we'll sort lunch time food out each day before we depart.
You'll need to bring plenty of warm clothes just in case, including waterproofs and wellies aswell as shorts and t-shirts!
Make sure you have a good spare tyre or two as well as a working jack and basic tools. some members will carry water and oil so I don't feel there's any need to bring your own unless you are coming in a newer model with a different engine to the classics, such as a diesel.

Booking
So people that came on the 2017 trip are automatically rolled over to attend this 2018 trip. You will be in the same rooms as before, if there are any problems with this then please reply here or let me know. These members are...
Andy B AndyPanda4x4
Freddy panda1408
Sam landypandasam
Jon MEP Most Easterly Pandas
John PB Freebo
Simon pandamonius_maximus
Gavin Palio
Keith Zizzeddu
John M panda panda
Vernon & Barbara VmanC
Jimmy & Nic northernchap
Jacob & Ula kolza

For people that didn't come last time then there are only a few rooms left available. You are more than welcome to sign up if the accommodation is full, but you'll have to book in elsewhere. The hosts are emailing me a list of recommendations for this purpose.
Sadly there is no camping on site whatsoever, but there is a camp site not far away which i will be getting the details of soon.
If you are staying off site you are still more than welcome to join us for all the available meals by paying a set price (TBC). People that stay elsewhere are also welcome to use the off-road course and will be charged exacly the same price as the rest of us for use of it.

There are a few rooms left on site, if you are booking as a single person on your own though you are likely to be put in a room with someone else in the same situation. You cannot book a whole room to yourself unless it's a single.
Main Building - Two twin rooms available + One family room (double with two bunk - currently reserved for David TBC)
Small Cottage - One twin (bunk beds)
Guest House - Only available for 3 nights - One triple + Two twin + One double with single + One sinle.
N.B The guest house is only available for three nights Monday night to Thursday morning due to a prior booking - this would mean finding other accommodation for the fourth night or finishing the trip a day early I'm afraid.

Prices are £234 pp including accommodation and all the meals. Use of the off-road course is £25 per car for the entirety of the stay (a disclaimer must also be signed).
Separate meal prices for those not staying at the accommodation can be calculated when everything is sorted nearer the time.

Booking for the event is to be made through me initially, if you would like to get your name down please get in touch via. PM, text message or on Messenger. Choose your room and let me know, first come first served. I will update this thread as it fills up. Any single bookings will likely be put into a hat unless you have organised to stay in a room with another member.

Any further questions please get in touch or post them up on here,

Many thanks all, make it another week to remember!

Mike and James

I'm in, just to check was it the guest house that Barbara, Vern, John and I stayed in this year? This that what we're re-booked back into so will need to find somewhere else for the last night
Jon you guys were in the small cottage I believe, Andrew said he's kept all the original peoples' rooms available for the full period.

An update on proceedings:

The large cottage (guest house - 3 nights only) is no longer available for bookings as the owners have had a booking request for this and taken it.

I have only had a couple of additional requests up to now so I said to him that we will be OK with what we had last time including the rooms which weren't filled.

This does mean now that anybody else which is wanting to come will have to get in touch ASAP as there are only a couple of places left available on site, any additional people wanting to come will have to find their own accommodation I'm afraid.

Cheers.

Andy. Although both myself and Adam would love to spend the week with you all.
We will only make a day trip as ads hols are fixed .
When the week gets planned we will decided what day I.S the best
