Technical Hi all, been away for a while but im back....Panda-ish question about tacho install..

So, after a brief spell away from classic Fiats after selling Giuseppe the Rally Panda (Very much missed), i stupidly bought a 126 Bis in 2014 which i had always had a hankering for....long story short the engines are terrible in every way. I Spent 2 years rebuilding the engine inc. fitting Abarth parts and 11 miles into the maiden voyage it died. The rear crank bearing material crumbled apart like hard cheese. Seeing as all of the bearings come from the same supplier i decided to fit (squeeze) a 999 FIRE engine into it and give up on the stupid Bis lump. I got one in the form of an UNO donor car which has the carb & Marelli ignition. It is now in the car and seems to drive ok...no major failures yet... Im in the process of finishing everything up now, just a couple of bulkheads to fabricate and its pretty much done.....
so...
I want to fit a rev counter and i need to locate the signal wire on the coil end. Apparently some late 80's Pandas were fitted with the same system so i was wondering if anyone could help. The wiring diagram does not seem to match my loom quite perfectly so i was wondering if it would work if i joined the rev counter signal wire to the negative wire that runs from the coil to the dizzy. Any help would be greatly received. I know its weird asking for help here but its basically fitted with a Panda heart now....ive never been that fond of Unos. Cheers.:slayer:

Just to note... The loom matches the right hand diagram except i have no idea what 'MB' is and i only have one green wire....the other wire is a faded greyish/pink colour and is cut short in the insulation (does not connect to anything). Cheers

Contactless with the ignition module on the dizzy and the single coil like the 4x4 system right. There are minor differences on the coil connectors but you should have something like this:

Tacho feed here comes from the side with the green cable - the red wire in the pic that doesn't go into the sheath(y)

Ta, that pretty much answers it. Thanks very much. Its similar on the uno loom, just a plug with the wires in instead. :slayer:(y)
