Iirc mine was just under 8" when Fedimas were new.
Front articulation - make sure your hub carrier lower ball joint isn't bottoming out.
Rear - longer shocks, flexi shackles or convert to coil springs and panhard rod - same as Tibor had on his panda.

Slight miscalculation there.

9.7 inches with both tyres on.

This weekends update.

Exhaust on. Larger bore and straight through. Should sound interesting. Need to wrap the fuel lines to protect them from the heat.

Discovered a neat ECU installation without the requirement to modify the loom.

The loom has gotten slightly thicker for the additional electrics.

Removable Internal sound proofing and rubber matting. To be continued into the driver and passenger footwell.

Looking good so far, are you going to do anything with regards to the rear wheel arches? I fear those tyres (like mine and others) will shred themselves on the front of the rear wheel arches.

Heres what happened to mine:

I found in normal road conditions there was no problems but after some offroading at full articulation it makes contact. In wales it also smashed off the wheel arch lining.

We have lifted the body up 90mm and moved the rear axel back by 30 mm although the wheels are now 14" and 195 80 tyres from our calculations it will miss by 15 mm as the Tavel is 160mm up to the bump stop our diff height is now 10" from 6.5 " wheel base is also increased by 50 mm pushing the front track forward by 20mm
Will need stops fitting to the steering travel the width track is also increased by 30mm to enable full drive shaft clearance when wheels are fully unweighted
Steve
But let's see off road trials next weekend might brake something !

Sounds like you've got it in hand. Let's hope the practical test goes well!
