Re: leaf springs

If you're thinking of using Marbella leafsprings on a 4x4, please forget it.
They are only suitable for an original Mk I

Re: leaf springs

I'll take bets that the intermediate spring has snapped just behind the clamp on the o/s unit.

offers?

Re: leaf springs

The place the spring broke is on the curl at the rear of the drivers side the place where the bush goes through.

The car is still running but it needs a fresh spring,

Now for the bite my car is a 94 Marbella 2x2 not 4x4 i wish it was those springs i can get.

I follow the threads with enthusiasm having owned and run a 750 fire engine Panda a 1.1 Uno then up to an 899 Cinq,I had to start looking for a replacement for the Cinq
A local garage had the Marbella for sale, took it out for a run liked it and bought it its run like a dream for 6 months now ,The spring doesnt affect
the way it drives its in use every day just about anything pertaining to the Panda pertains to my car ,cept im not about to take mine to Africa.

Oh and the cars above where owned over a period of time not all at once

Thanks for listening/reading while an old man rambles on
