My left headlight reflector has completely broken loose and the right headlight is nearly completely broken of too.
So I first thought, buy new headlights or getting them from the dump (being in Italy they are plentiful) but then risk them braking.
Another option is I could try to fix them myself.
I preferred the fixing them myself self option because is saves money, but.. I want to upgrade the headlights anyway, better bulbs or something, and while I was surfing online I came across many headlight modifications (not on pandas) where people cut the housing to allow a projector lens to be fitted, and I thought I could kill two birds with one stone.

What do you guys think about installing projector lenses, and has anyone done something similar? And please, any other ideas, let me know!!

I got 2 spare brand new headlight with ring for H4 back in Rome...
I upgraded my bulbs with nightbraker bulb as well..
I don't know about fixing your broken ones...
Would the projectors pass la revisione? Would they be legal in Italy and rest of Europe..
You could also put some additional fog light...
Lester does a grille to fit the old panda with an additional 2 light

Projector unit conversion.
Does look completely different, the actual glass in front of the projector should be grinded/machined off and polished to clear smooth surface as with the old flutes still on the light distribution will not be correct.

Your spare headlights, have they been modified to accept H4 bulbs or do you simply use some kind of "adapter"? And also would you be willing to sell them?
I have upgraded other vehicles with nightbraker bulbs, and I like the product.
I've already thought about extra light's and maybe even something like an Led bar!
The legality of projector headlights is definitely one of the biggest problems, if I had them professionally aligned, in theory they would be fine, but regarding the law, they might well still be illegal and even if I don't think anyone would stop me, I don't think I would like to chance it especially traveling Europe! I will pop into a local revisione garage and ask, maybe they would be able to help(still only with local laws, I would have to check the laws of every country I plan to visit[emoji21] )
Ps: what about Led bulbs for the main headlights, what do you think about them?

I thought that would be an eventual problem.
could that be done at home?
About the look.. I think it might look nicer if the surround was painted/left chrome, or painted the body colour maybe, I don't know.

The headlights are original brand new for LHD like yours
They got a ring that fit on the h4 and sit flush with the headlight mount
Got them on my panda hobby as well
I might sell them but I paid €145 with the rings...
I though to keep them just in case...
If you are interested let me know because I'm still undecided if I want to sell them...

For the spare list...
Jump lead
Full set of bulbs
Tyre repair canister
Distributor belt
Full box of fuses...

Don't worry about the Headlights, I think it might be a good idea for you to hold on to them just in case!

I'd personally stick with the same headlights, but as Luca said, always bring a full set of bulbs around with you. I have a spare bulb kit specified for my car that I managed to buy from a shop, I keep it with some tools and my Panda Haynes manual in the back of my car!

Never know when you might need them. I thought I've had two bulbs go, but I think they just had a dodgy Earth, they both turned on again with the same bulb when I turned everything off and turned them on again... the joys of a Panda, my friend ;)

I will definitely keep spares, you never know!
I will stick with the original Headlights, but because the reflector on one has completely broken of and the other headlight is not much better off, I think I will buy some new ones, I've found the same make as mine (I presume original ones) called "Carello" on eBay, but I'm still reluctant because it's lots of money, and I'd love to try and fix mine but I don't know if it would be possible/worth it, the joys of the panda life hey! [emoji23]

If anyone has any idea in how to fix the reflector please let me know!!

Fantastic! I love your fallout panda!(y)
Thanks but i think i will stay kinda original, I just imagined traveling though Europe with a panda like yours and I think it might draw a bit to much unwanted attention don't you think!? :D:slayer::D
