Just asking the question - What car is your daily driver?

By that I mean the car that's used for those essential daily trips whether shopping or working, that default set of keys in your pocket or hand/man bag.

Also interested in what folks do for winter - stick to the default or change to another car?

Just for fun, promise not to make fun of your choices - unless it comes with a plug :D

.

Obiouvsly I drive with honour my Panda 4x4 :D :D
When I go in the downtown I use the scooter. ;)

If you want to prepare your Panda for the winter, buy a full set of "Pirelli Winter 160" size : 145/80/R13.
They are perfect for snow. :p

I know different persons that prefer to use the Panda on the snow instead of Mercedes G class & LR Defender ;)

Still rocking the 2002 Suzuki Alto. Clutch judder and knackered CV joints apart its fine.

Since I have the Black Panda I was trying to keep her dry during the winter as my daily was just Primera which was rusty anyway. Last winter i was in process of swaping Primera to Legacy therefore Panda was used in winter salty road conditions. Effects were visible streight away, Black one is in on awaiting list for both sill job next summer so might be used this year as well.
Subaru being JDM import don't have proper underseal therefore might be kept on SORN till next spring but only if Sisley will be ready.
I'm just hoping there will be lots of snow this winter!

Which reminds me, anyone want a 206 for a winter daily, with Conti winter tyres? Wife's getting a bit fed up with it sitting looking forlorn on the drive now.

...ah well,worth a try.

At the moment it's the Uno 70SL and red mk3 Panda 4x4 - not that I can drive as I've knackered my back - violins please!!

As the salt goes down, the Uno will probably be used less. At that point the mk2 Sisley will go to default along with the red mk3. No beating a mk2 and mk3 4x4 - both on full winter tyres. Bet I'll get around better than nearly everyone if we get much snow (please, let's have a load of snow this year!!). (y)

When I'm not cycling I'm in my Fizz. I've toyed with the idea of looking for a fun Winter runner so I can park the old girl but I don't need anything bigger, quicker, faster than a Panda.
