We are again having a stand at this year's Practical Classics Restoration Show. It's at the NEC on 28th & 29th March.

More information HERE

There will be (hopefully) 3 Classic Panda's for you to see, and 5 cars in total on our stand. Not wanting to put the mockers on it, but you might get to see:

  • Bucket the Panda - in all his/her glory, finished (maybe) at the first post resto show.

  • Panto the Panda - fully finished after last year's "in progress" exhibit.

  • A mk1 4x4 - our "barn find" exhibit, but I know no more!

  • An 850 Saloon - our "older restoration" exhibit.

  • A mk1 Strada 65CL - completely unrestored, and still in one piece!

VmanC , Panda Mo, and scout will be up there, so pop along to say hello to the Panda's (and us). Not a lot of tickets around for this, but if you are planning to go & are happy to help out for an hour/two, let me know - I'll see if I can rustle something up for you. (y)

I'm hoping this will be less stressful than last year's show (or the November one come to that! ), but time will tell.

As good a place as any to tell you Bob & Vern/Barbara - I've asked for the latest slot available on the Friday, so am hoping for 11.30-12.00 delivery of cars. We will need to stick to this unless something disasterous occurs, as they are enforcing the timings to avoid other issues.

I have been given a mappy thing of the show - this will be a work in progress & is only on PDF - I can't therefore post it into the thread, but in theory it's attached. :D

We are just under the Meguiars stand, so get polishing Vernon.......... :slayer:

Closer to the middle of the hall this year.

Yes, I think that's quite a good spot. (y)

Did you notice we're with the Norwich guys this year? We got on well last time, and they are very down to earth, so when it asked if there were any preferences I said yep! At least we know they will talk to us, and would help out if there are any problems - last thing I want is to be saddled with a Club who are too stuck up to have a laugh! :)

Yep, I saw that and thought it was lucky. If they have another raffle that will bring in the punters which will increase footfall for us too

Palio I was going to message you about this as I'd not heard anything and I was wondering if you needed cars and/or help. Looks like the cars are sorted but I'd more than willing to come and help man the stand for the weekend if you want me to?

Thanks Freddy. Yes we'd pretty much planned the cars a year ago, so assuming nothing goes squiffy I thinks we're sorted carwise.

If you're able to help that would be great. (y) Which day/s would you be able to do, and would Jon like to go either/both days? :slayer:

Great, thanks. (y)

I think we're ok Friday, but extra hands are always welcome. There will be plenty of polishing to do, and that's something I'm happy to forgo ..... ;)

hi guys .... just to let you know bucket is very much a "he".... i'm planning on coming to the show on sunday so it will be really good to meet some of you and catch up with bucket and vernon.

What was the problem John? I'll try to make sure everyone's aware if I know.

My biggest problem was losing the car - 2nd year running, flaming place!! :bang:

We had to display the ticket in the car but when we met up with you outside we just went in. Thankfully we left so late there was no one on the gates etc and the ANPR must have been turned off but not worth risking it again!

Ah, ok. I don't think it would have caused a problem, but I'll try to remember to tell everyone to display it. (y)
