Hi all, I now own a 89 panda 4x4 after much searching. The inner sill, sill to floor and outer cover sills are rotten and I'm struggling to find cover sills so I can begin welding her up. Really don't wanna scrap her because of a simple days welding. So where can I find sills or body/repair panels ? HELP .... Thanks in advance Dave.

Hi, and welcome.

Please use search function or at least try to, there is sticky at the top with places seling parts, for outer sill ebay.it is your friend. If youre not after show room condition no need to use direct replacement, shapes are easy enough to fabricate it by yourself.

You'll almost certainly have to fabricate the inner sill yourself.
For outer sills, Van Wezel are very good at what they do. http://www.vanwezel.be/ They are allied to the Unipart Group and used to distribute in the UK through Unipart Automotive, now defunct, so I'm not sure about availability.
Go to their home page, download the pdf catalogue, go to page 300.
Use the contact option on the menu to ask them if/where in the uk you can source. They speak English very well. Or use their part numbers in Ebay.

Thanx for reply, I have tried looking around for maybe an hour or so and am struggling to navigate effectivly to find what I seek. Quite frustrating as I'm sure what im seeking will be here somewhere lol. Maybe it's me but i still can't find my way round.

Thanks bill that helps, I'm quite handy at fabrication and welding but for obvious reasons a simple pressed cover sill is easier.. I've found some on eBay Italy but wow expensive !!!

For anyone interested the uniipart part nos are 17 07 101 & 17 07 102. These relate to a full length cover sill panel. I've contacted them direct for price and availability in the UK. When I know I will post the info. Again thanks Bill

Try here:

http://www.carz2.co.uk/

They quoted me around £80 a side a couple of months ago, thats a full outer sill including the bottom of the door jamb, a-panel and rear quarter. I ended up buying a pair from a another forum member who had bought them but no longer needed them, I would have ordered from these guys otherwise.

I searched alot and I couldn't find anywhere cheaper, a few Italian eBay sellers were considerably less but would not send to the UK, unfortunately there is not much demand for sills and other panels so there are very few people making and selling them.
