Chris having a bit of spare time I went to TMS to price some bit's and whilst there priced your brakes, when I spoke to you you said the disc's calipers etc were much dearer. So giving your model/year of 1994 I got a price for the following bit's:- Caliper £20.74 (surcharge if no caliper to exchange £15.00) Brake disc's £5.00 and pads £10.18.

Now they said that there is no destinction on the front end between any panda 86-95 I asked if there was any Auto's listed and they said NO, I've checked that against the parts catalogue and the caliper listed for yours is the same listed for the 4x4 and others so appears to be correct. The only difference was the shoes as dicussed earlier on Tony's thread (yes sorry John).

So if your part's place is so much dearer if you come over next I could order them for you.

P.S. you will have to pay for those bits

Just looked again more deeply and there is 3 different types but going by the factors I wonder if the other types could be replaced, as it list's your chassis with the cheaper brakes either that or they are just not available elsewhere? but I'm sure you said chris that your getting a set.

at least the heater is a ten minute job with the panda

Someone seomewhere had mentioned that they used the same capliper on a deisel punto or something.. i may however be just making that up... i have no proof. well i shall have mine over hauled before they turn into balls of rust me thinks.
