they are only a single leaf on the seat, same lenth but only single, are they a diffrent tenshion or something? as i was thinking might just aswell take the bottom 2 off my panda and just have the top ones in
"Please don't do that Dave" ( I sound like HAL in 2001 ! )
The various springs are carefully callibrated to stand alone or work in unison.
The single spring of the Marbella is the equivalent of the pre-omega setup of the Panda, and was designed to stand alone.
The 4x4 spring setup was designed as a single unit and is only as strong as it's weakest leaf. If you use just the one long leaf, without it's support springs, I can tell you +/- 1" where it will snap !!!
thanks, looks like its back to the scrappy to get the marbella ones then, its not my usal scrappy, they want £25 for the pair of marbella ones is that a good price?
i know i could get a full car for nothing if i didnt want one, but now i want one there is none about around here, my mate put one in his crusher a few months ago he also crushed a panda 4x4 last year and only kept the gearbox
he never got no panda customers though then, hes just getting some since i put his address up on the forum, so he keeps them now its sods law i will pay £25 for the springs and next week he will have some, if i dont get them then......
Don't buy just yet, my friend.
Where are you based ? I know of a low- mileage Marbella with doors that I just might want. This could possibly be a cheap buy.
