A trip like this should really have more then a few weeks preparation...

Morocco is only 30 min from spain (like scotland is further away!)

The road's aren't any worse than Donegal

There's loads of Fiats (the Uno is used alot as taxis)

I just don't do preparation!

Last year when we went to the arctic circle I'd originally packed for the Med!
(we had one fleece between us and we did look really stuipd in shorts on the glaicers, but it added to the fun )

There is just no talking you out of this at all! I give up. Enjoy yourself, and don't forget to smile at the border guards and look as ungay as you can.

if you ARE going to morocco, here is a list of items you should take..

tyre weld, replacement fan belt, spare bulbs, warning triangle, first aid kit, fire extinguiser, spare wipers, 2 bottles of water (one for the car, and one for you), headlamp beam converters, various bits of wire (in case the electrics go), a couple of spare air filters (moroccan dust kills air filters), and bribe money (you WILL be asked for a 'fee' by police and border guards).

when i go for adventures (russia, saudi arabia, egypt, etc), i make sure that i know where the petrol stations are, and if there are any hostilities towards the british (i nearly went to iran, but the war started two weeks before i started off).

if i think of any other things to take i will let you know. hope this helps
