There was a big marionettes event in Liverpool at the weekend, staged by a very cool French group called Royal de Luxe.

Now, anyone spot the wheels on the trailer carrying the Little Girl Giant's bed on the way to her boat at the dock?

And as an extra car-related bonus, don't you love the double decker car drums! Twingo was my favourite.

Scary Giant or scary that I spotted it? Hmm, I suspect the latter and it's a fair cop.

In defence I didn't spot it until I looked at the pics. I was too distracted by the paper-firing Land Rover cannon.

We went to see the Giants. The crowds were unbelievable and the whole atmosphere was a credit to the City of Liverpool

When the double decker car drums came passed us some wag in front said in his sciuse accent:
"I know it's hard to find a parking space but that's ridiculous! "
