I had the honour of calling via PS's reserve on Friday night, the paint job on this Panda is epic! However a fair bit of work required with a welder is required from what was pointed out and I could see.

Not bad for a freebie though :)

Not a Freebie but 'donated'.

That means it comes with a certain amount of responcibility(y)

Just found a pic of the paint for anyone that's curious! ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1401915995.192566.jpg

If it is going to go again I still have the 'fairy dust' if there's any refinishing to be done! :)

I popped round to visit little 'Holo fairy dust' today.(y)

I didn'y have my camera unfortunatley but I hope to get some pics later next week. Yes in the sun the paint is a true spectacular.

PS and I spent a very happy hour considering what could be done with the car, what could power it and even how many wheels it could have.

And then reality kicked in

PS has it stripped down to a shell and the rust is extensive; bordering on the bad side of terminal.

While anything can be repaired there just isn't the 'value' in just another 2x4 Panda that needs a grands worth of welding; welding which would have to be significant 'plating' as the car would have to be stripped virtually back to pressed panels to do a 'back to original' resto.

Sorry if this seems overly harsh. I have a cold y'know(n)

Perhaps more importantly we have a growing list of forum members with parts requests. This would perhaps be much more in keeping with the original donation from our chum Brian.
Before everyone pops out of the woodwork after freebies; parts would attract a 'Pinky' donation.
