And the thought crossed my mind young Pandik is based in Slovakia (any one else?), and there maybe Pandas. So maybe that's what I should get, or if I get a different car what sort of Panda loot could I find and bring back? Was it Slovakia with the Panda Post office vans?

A Tatra would be amazing. I did find a Slovakian classified website, sadly no Tatras but I did find a few Wartburgs

Sadly no Pandas I can see but a few nice 126s

IMHO Pandas are rare in Slovakia, just like in Poland. I've seen only a couple during my trips. Except Pandik's, of course ;-)

Couldn't see any good Skodas on that website (by good I mean pre-VW like rapids!) Must be some somewhere, will look harder!

As it happens I have another wedding later in the year in Poland, so I could repeat the exercise. Sadly no weddings in Serbia though!
