Hi does any one know if the cylinder head's from a 999cc 1989 mk1 uno and a 1992 750cc panda are the same both engines have carburetors and mechanical fuel pumps. I know that the blocks are are different but are the cylinder head's the same if not what was different e.g valve, shim sizes different profile on the cam. Thanks again for any help.:-D

Don't think so?
Driven by a lobe on the cam shaft isn't it?[/QUOTE
That's right my engine is a750 fire. So 769cc I think. The fuel pump is driven from a lobe on the cam shaft no chain and has a timing belt so no chain there either.

Bore is different (65mm on 750 vs 70mm on 999/1108) so the head won't marry up with the block right from that point of view. Valve sizes are different (750 26.5 inlet 23.5 exhaust vs 999 30.5/27.5) but camshaft appears to be the same. 999/1108 heads are interchangeable but with a better cam on the 1108.
