Howdy Pandners,

When we got Lola, our Panda Young from 2000, we've been wanting to take good care of her, and there was some things to fix, the exhaust/muffler for example.
But after some unfortunate events in the family, this work has been falling short, while Lola have been a real work horse, performing trustworthy and fine.

Now it's time to give more back, and even though I dig her sound... it's time to change the exhaust.

When we got her there was a big hole on the forward pipe, which we patched up before driving her up to Sweden.
Yesterday I noticed a change in this sound, and saw that the rear pipe had jumped off from the muffler. (Ouch). Because we treat her like she's a Sisley I suppose, and go skipping down the trail....
anyway....

There's a site for car scrappers here, dealing with parts, and I found a complete exhaust system, says it's a nice one. For about 90-100 pounds with shipping. Thing is it's from a Panda from 1985.
Ain't much info about it, but the engine number is 450.9.100.GL3000.33K.

My question is if there's a way to know if this thing is gonna fit our Panda Young, '00 ?

Yeah, I usually try to get things that are already around then to get new stuff.
I am no fan of the throw away society, but an exhaust might be a good thing to get new, for sure, although it seems like this particular one has barely been used.
But a bit too early model for us then.

Thanks ph.
