There's a thought - set of traffic lights I've just been stuck at (along with all the cones protecting the workforce that wasn't working or in force (it's 9pm so they knocked off about 7 hours ago

I'm visiting my mum and dad (it's his 85th birthday, this weekend), from Friday to Sunday, in Preston -- and just thought I could come back via my favourite chippy in Skipton (nipping across via the M65), instead of just shooting down the M6.... Top-of-the-head stuff, that's all....

No problem well if you guys need anything at all let me know - I work in construction so we have a large supply of cones, signs, large plastic barriers, lots of different tapes. I am sure some can go to a good cause for a little while if needed - keep it in mind anyway if anyone is in the area (and it's not my birthday) I was thinking I could post some rolls of tape to you but it's just as cheap to buy on ebay.

homeward aren't we likely to be going to Donnington the weekend before the NEC? That's near Derby isn't it, and Andy's sort of past Derby (quite a long way, but we're in the right direction at least! :idea:
If we could find someway of getting them to me, I could bring them to the NEC. I'm a little closer to Andy, but still a fair drive!

Anyway Donnington is near to Derby (I just checked!), and I went past Derby going to Andy's - I did say quite a long way past!!

Gavin, I think that if someone can come up with the tape (Bob?) then I can easily knock up some posts to tie it too.

Just a quick update, as much for my benefit as anyone else so I remember who's got a ticket.....
This is all systems go, and Vernon is working hard on getting Panto ready. I've managed to magic up a transporter for Vern to take Panda's up on (hopefully all 3), so I've done my bit!
We will have 4 cars (hopefully). Pinky, Panto, and the "barn find" red 4x4, plus a 127 (called Freddie, just to confuse Freddy ).
Tickets are limited (well the free ones are). We get 10 per day, and 8 are spoken for. If I haven't forgotten anyone, we have:
Vernon & Barbara VmanC Panda Mo
Stephen homeward
Bob scout
Freddy & Jon panda1408
Stiggy the stig/130
And me of course.

As it's a new show, I don't know how busy it will be. It can't possibly be as packed as the classic show first time out - can it?! Usually Sunday is slightly quieter at the classic show but not much in it (and this one might be different anyway).
Let me know if you're definitely going & which day. If you're happy to person (see how pc I can be!
) the stand for an hour or so, you're also welcome to one of the last freebo tickets!
