Hi all, I want to start ordering bits for the new addition - 2001 1100cc Panda Young.

My supplier asked what engine code do I have? 187A1.000 or 176B2.000 - me, I've not got a clue??????

I need to know for oil filters, the second one has a longer body to the filter.


Anybody out there who can tell me?

With a little bit of luck, and a following wind, if you put your VIN in ePER (see the blue bar, at the top of the page...), it should give you all the info you need...!

PS: The explanation for this is very long-winded and boring -- but very relevant to Panda owners of a certain vintage (both the owners and the cars...)
