Not seen this before (hopefully not a re-post)...it is epically 80's! Some really strange things in it (especially at around 12mins in).

Iv'e seen it on here before but its worth a repost as its really cool. I'd love the see some more CINE FIAT films from the era.

Adsolutly fabulous was filming at wood lane, home of the BBC,and jenifer saunders rolled over the bonnet of a Italia 90 panda

not really a film but if ever you watch Time Team (i love it ) there's an episode where they are in Spain. theres marbellas, terras, pandas.. you name it you see it! its great! proper panda archaeology!

the episode is "Time Team S07E01 - A Muslim Port in Spain (Denia, Spain)"

The biggest let down is Inspector Montalbano. The streets ought to be crawling with Pandas in that but barely a sniff.

I'm afraid I don't watch it -- but my mum, god bless her, said the same thing to me a couple of weeks ago...! [We used to have a running joke about Beetles (when I owned a string of them (sorry)) always appearing in 70s and 80s American cop shows -- e.g. Starsky and Hutch -- which has now morphed into a one based on Pandas....]

Don't see any in the Scandiwegian shows, either... -- and you'd surely expect the odd 4x4...?

I think Montalbano goes for the moody and minimalist look as there are hardly any cars on the streets. He does drive a Tipo so that's something!

My parents are into Montalbano. We were in Sicily in the summer near where Montalbano was filmed and there were thousands (literally) of Panda's!

Sorry to bring up more Y10 films but we are kinda adopted into Panda community I hope

Charity rallies are not to everyones taste but these are quite professional films with decent sound tracks.

Part 2 of a video of a survey vehicle going round Sunderland in 1988. Not much traffic on the roads as it's early morning, but at about 7.29 of the film there is a bit of MK1 Panda action...

It was so mundane at the time, yet seems another world now. They would never have understood it at the time but would gladly carjack the wedge at 14:10

Hypnotic. Surprising how modern the Sierra looked.

More orion's than anything else....price of fuel......a few fiats and a nice mk1 cortina. Don't know why, but I love films like that and find myself watching the professionals and Sweeney for " spot the car" fun.

You forgot Minder!

I play a very highbrow game ( ) for Minder in particular (also works on the Sweeney, the Bill, er, Terry & June!! ) - guess the year it was made from the cars you've spotted. You need a good working knowledge of reg plates too, plus an ability to decipher Roman numerals (see, said it was highbrow! ). I have an almost perfect record on Minder - it has the added advantage of loads of cars & it's still funny

I'll tell you what though, you don't half look a clever Richard if you're watching with someone who has no idea how to date a car (or use Roman numerals).

The art is in finding the newest car onscreen & working out the date of the film/programme. I won't play the game with you then, if you can do it too!

A 1985 Cine Fiat film following 3 Mk1 Pandas from Venice to Peking. Its largely a travel film although there are some quite nice clips of the Pandas in various exotic locales.
