As the title says does the 1108cc cylinder head fit directly on 999cc block? Do the 999cc inlet/exhaust manifold fit on this head? And does it run correctly running on the panda carb? My panda is a 1989 1000CL if that makes any difference. And do I need a different head gasket? Does the dizzy and water pipe fit to this head too?

Thanks in advance

Bore is the same so in theory goes straight on.Dizzy, carb, inlet and exhaust manifolds all fine. If it's an injection head then you'll need an electric fuel pump or drill the head to run the drive through (look it up) and I think refit your old camshaft as the injection one is lacking the lobe to run the pump. All this is assuming it's not a later mpi head (late sei/ nu Panda) which is very different on the inlet side.

I would go the electric pump route personally, you can get a little low pressure pump for about £20 - £25 or so, mount down low (they tend to push better than they pull uphill) with an ignition switched live and you're away. Get the drilling wrong and you've wrecked the head.
Cinq should be OK, all single point.

use the fuel pump from off an 899cc cinquecento SX?

the filter the pump mounts to would act as something the fuel to sit in, so it would no have to drag it all the way from the tank on each start.

i have already worked all this out as i plan one day to turn the marbella fully SPI. it uses loads of fuel (very bad mpgs) at the moment but if i make it injected i think it would be better.

899 is injected though so pressure would be way too high for a carb, need to start messing about with a regulator.
