Hi

Thought I would share this amusing tale...

Just returned from our holiday in Italy. I was tempted to take Beswick my old Panda Colour, and enjoy the twin sunnies...but Mrs BB preferred that we go in her twinair 500C, sunroof and air con etc etc

I told her that it would be great to bring back a passenger door to replace Beswick's rusty door...she thought I was joking!

We took a trip to see the Ponte Maddelena bridge again - just outside Lucca as I had seen a scrappy there on a previous visit, so we called in.
Bez now has a mint second hand door - albeit the wrong colour as I thought trailing round for the correct colour would lead to much handbagging, or handbag purchase therapy!

Did you know that Italian for a scrap yard is "Demolizione".

Ha Ha, I bet she wishes you'd taken Beswick if she had to bring a door back in her 500. Just think, if you'd taken him you could have swapped the door at the scrappy and not have to give up any handbag space!

You are my hero.. I am not worthy....:worship:

Do you have an address for the scrapyard? :D

We plan to go over in October so would be interested in paying it a visit.

Working holiday then Vernon? ;)

You better take a very big van for all the "orders" you'll get from here for bits :p

I'll have a tailgate with PANDA embossed in the back please, or Panda Van conversion :)

Hi

It is at
Via del Brennero 28
55012‎ Capannori‎ Tuscany
Italy

Can I co e with you?
The city of Lucca is about 20 minutes away, and well worth a visit, and about 10 minutes from the scrappy is the bridge Ponte Maddelena, also worth a visit.

As a bonus, I understand all the hanbag shops are shut in October!

:)
