Can someone with a better memory than me or recent familiarity with locking parts advise me?

The catch will not spring and hold over the striker when I close the door so does anyone know which part is likely to have broken? It feels like a spring has gone but looking at eper there appears to be no spring in the vicinity.

its annoying as the door does close, but you have to slam it a few times as the catch that locks into place when the door is shut onto the pin does not spring closed it instead relies on gravity to do it.... happened on the passenger door of Talon. thankfully the marbella door lock mechanism is the same as the pandas one in every way so i just swapped them around with the ones off talons original doors, while i repaired the marbella one.

Yeah about 1 in 20 slams and then I can lock it with the knob but not the key. It also seems to only lock on 'first latch' if you know what I mean. I think I have all the bits somewhere but I've not had much chance to do anything on the Pandas this last couple of weeks. Getting in and out of the passengers side all the time feels a bit silly!
