Any idea how much tickets will be?

Hi Jon,

Tickets are expensive & more info is at:

http://www.necclassicmotorshow.com/tickets.php

BUT please let me know if you are planning to come & which day. There are sometimes a couple of spare tickets, and I will put you on a reserve list if I know. Last year Kevin got in for a donation to Pinky rather than the rather expensive gate prices (y)

This goes for anyone else - no guarantees but after the stand personnel are sorted, and any FMC members attending are given first refusal, anyone I know about from FF will be contacted - if you don't ask you definitely won't get......... :)

Why is it more expensive on Fridays and I might come on the Sunday

It used to be the "Press Day" I think - public could get in but it cost more. These days it's not much quieter but still costs more.

If you want my very unofficial opinion, it's because they can get away with it

Would be good to see you there - you'll be the one in disguise as the complete Rover 420 (facelift) fan Club I guess......

There's more than one of us you know in the fan club, my son might come with me, he's 9 lol

The disguise may be more obvious than you think

I shall definitely be a visitor on the Saturday. Sadly, will have my father in tow, who will talk to everyone and won't go away. I apologise in advance, although he's not so keen on Fiats, so I might be able to lose him for a while.

Don't worry I will be on the stand and I talk to any body and that will give you a chance to catch up with all the others! :)

Hi everyone,

Well the NEC is thundering towards us - quite an achievement for such a large building! ;)

As you know there will be 4 Panda's on display. All currently in pieces at Vernon's but we have faith........ :worship:

Is there anyone definitely going, particularly on Friday? It looks like I will have a few tickets left. Sat/Sun are possible, but this partly depends on anyone dropping out.

Friday, however, I can already see spares, and these are £27.50 on the door! I appreciate some people have to work Fridays but for anyone who is unemployed/unemployable/self employed/got annual leave/is suffering from a mystery illness that day (has that covered it? ), this is a great chance.

Please contact me ASAP if you're interested (in any day). If you are & end up getting in free, Pinky would appreciate donations (£10 a ticket maybe would be fair?).
VmanC can you bring Pinky's pink collecting stuff up to the NEC? We may be sans Pinky, but we can collect for Children in Need again up there. (y)

I'm going on the Sunday as I work nights and finish Saturday morning

Will do. (y)

Just bumping this up in case people have forgotten!

It's the NEC this weekend, and we are all off to exotic Birmingham tomorrow. (y)

I'm hoping to see a full compliment of Panda's when I arrive in the morning - no-one's told me that emergency back up plan Q is needed, so I'm taking that as a good sign.

Please pop along to see us in Hall 8 stand 310.

Look for the flying Panda's, assuming they survive the journey. We had 3 deaths this morning when they went pop (all blew in the same place), but fortunately I had spares, and these seem to have stayed in one piece so far. I really don't want exploding Panda's on the M40 tomorrow.......... Also the ridiculous risk assessment I had to do to allow us to take balloons up there didn't consider random exploding Panda's, so I didn't do a very good job on that..........

There are still Friday and Sunday passes available from me. If you're going and don't have a ticket, please let me know asap. (y)
