If he contacts me and complains I may offer to quadruple the price, especially as I can save £30 not using a courier .:rolleyes:

Alright, you wont hear anything from me until about 9:30 at the earliest since I am in my teenage years and don't believe in this morning lark.

I'd quite like it if we organised the next leg of the alloys journey asap as well so I know when they'll be leaving me. I don't fancy driving them all the way to York unfortunately :eek:
 
If someone can get the alloys to se London than I can try and get them to Vernon's for Gavin to pick up at the end of the month. I need an excuse to go there and having seen the photos of his workshop I REALLY need to go there :D

I'm also going back and forth to Brighton a few times this week and maybe next week if you know anyone south who can get them to you

He's ok with the bargain price and pleased they will end up on a Panda, he will go home and leave the wheels out somewhere, just need to confirm a few details so I can ring him back.

It's 10am now so hope you've woken up :rolleyes:

Hopefully you won't have hold of them too long, just depends on who's passing by you :p

Important thing is to get them into the hands of a forum friend :)

The collecting of the alloys is all set in motion and I'll be going to get them a bit later. Is this our first Panda Express delivery underway? :D

Where abouts are you in London? I don't really want to have to drive into London very far, outskirts (Bromley etc) are an easy route for me.

I can get to Bromley in about 30 mins depending on traffic, so that's no problem (y)
 
Well I got the alloys, from behind the bin :)
Put them in the back of Charmanda, she rides better with 4 alloys in the back, feels slightly more surefooted and less likely to be blown away in a slight sideways breeze.

EDIT: Got picture. (Still sideways, I give up)

You can test fit the one with a tyre to Charmandarerer if you want ! :p

I would but I don't have any axle stands, I just park over a well known ditch when I do any under car work, the ditch doesn't really allow for wheel changes. Although might be funny to put 1 14" on with my other 3 13"s.
 
Cheers for the pm Didge (y) we'll work out a time that works for us both and do the swap :D it was Gavin's Palio suggestion to get them to Vernon's to pass on to him, so I'll check with him when he'll be there and we can go from there! Exciting :)

I really need to get down to Vernon's by the end of the month, but V's also going to Castle Combe on the 29th. If someone asks nicely he may be able to take them up to CC if I haven't already got them. (y)

I'm going on holiday from the 24th till the 1st so they need to go either before the 24th or after the 1st. So it really just depends on when Vernon is busy so Jamie can take them down.
 
I've just read this properly and realised that they're ending up at Stanford. If I knew you were going to wait that long to get them, I would've said earlier, I'm planning on going to Stanford this year, I could take them straight up rather than them going from Jamie, to Vern, to Gavin etc. Save everyone a bit of petrol?

Although if you want them sooner than Stanford then going up with Vern to Castle Combe could be the best option?

They all seem very good, ones missing a center cap and another has a broken 1, other than that they mainly just look a bit mucky. If I had a working hose I might've even cleaned them off to check for damage/get better pictures.
