General Panda Camp 2013

Got back at 8.30 and managed to cover 988 miles in the Y10 and the wheel didn't fall off (y)

Sorry we couldn't stop in at Vern's but the photos look interesting :D

A great weekend. Really good to put some faces to the names. Thanks to all for making the effort and MEP for getting the ball rolling.

What's this about next year  watch this space :D

Cheers

Dave

yeah fantastic camping trip. my brother and i enjoyed it so much :)

we got back at just gone 9. hit the shower first thing (shower kills the hay feaver for us), got something to eat.. had a little play with the goodies i got from Mr. VmanC and Mr. purple haze..then come in my bed room to post up videos and pictures.... and fell asleep.... until now. .. laptop on knee ¬_¬

well it was a long drive. (longest drive i have ever taken so far)
Talon got me home flawlessly, however the expansion tank cap is leaking :/

i am putting this down to a gas bubble in the radiator that is stuck in there and cant get out due to the little pipe being snapped off. i really need to find another one of those screw in hose/pipe connectors with the same thread.
ill find one somewhere.

right guys, i do not think that i will be uploading anything tonight sadly.. i am just so tired. sleep first, and i will start the flood of video editing, converting and uploads tomorrow.

thanks for making it one of the best get aways i have ever been on ever! it would have been absolutely perfect if it was not for the damn pollen and hay fever. well that is none of your fault..still an epic trip and camping experience.

Thank you all so much!

Been having a look through the photos from the weekend and the one below is my favorite. Do you think week could fill up a ferry with pandas and y10s next year?

Nice pic Dave (y)

We could have been close this year if I hadn't been so pessimistic about it. My childhood memories of Studland Bay were, beautiful sandy beach, an hour long wait for the ferry, cost of crossing - seven shillings and six pence.

The reality now though was, 75% seaweed covered beach smelling of poo :yuck:, 20 min. wait for Ferry which cost £2.50. How times change :(
