I will bring a BBQ and various cooking stuff that we could share... Beer is the important item..:D you can cook anything on a disposable BBQ...just bring a frying pan and a saucepan from home. No need to but anything special, just look at what you already have...

Tescos do amazingly cheap camping stuff...we have a three man tent and a double blow up bed which cost pennies...It's ideal for this kind of get together. I would not want to use it all the time though.

For serious camping we have the Toyota 4x4 with roof tent, awning, hot and cold water, fridge, cooking stove, plus lots of other stuff all kitted out for overlanding...:D

:yeahthat:

My tent is from Tesco's finest Value range - £20 iirc, was purchased for Panda Camp 2009, hasn't been used since :p

My air bed was from Tesco's, was literally a let down experience overnight :(

Just been looking at the sites internet pages, they offer 'ice hire' how do that work then? take a block of ice and bring back a bucket of water the next day

Out of interest, is this camp family friendly or geezers talking about cars and looking under bonnets? I'm very happy with either but just wondering whether to come along with a petrol head friend or bring the family :D

*sucks air through teeth* Go on then, count me in :)

**If I kill my panda driving it 300 miles it will at least be in the right place to get fixed**

That's the spirit John (y). Our trip to Scotland last year was a 1500 mile round trip with no problems so I'm sure you'll be fine. It's a 40mile drive to my workshop from the campsite so if you have any problems I'll happily tow you there and fix it. Mates rates of course ;).

I did plan a similar 900 mile round trip last summer to Goodwood FoS in the Y10 but it let me down after a couple of miles :bang:. All sorted with a new lambda (y)

Would a y10 be welcome on the camp?

I seem to be all out of potential excuses, so count me in :woot:

Did Vernon just offer to tow someone from York if they had a problem? ;)

Fine with me - does it still have its ARB??

New forest? is that anywhere near Nottingham Forest?

one quick google later

bit of a panda trekking, would see if I could borrow my brothers camper van but that's not the point is it? :p

Wanna convoy?

Families and Y10's welcome..it has to be sensible as we have others on the site to be mindful of..

Don't worry, when I said petrol head I didn't mean nutter.
Was thinking of my best friend Genn, the person who had a red twin sunnie 1000s when we were 17. The reason through nostalgia I got back into panda love :D Ohh and he's very sensible, his tongue is insured for £10,000,000
http://m.digitaljournal.com/article/268879 so whoever's in charge of the barbecue easy on the chilli!!! :p

No, not quite. :)

Come on down Dave, would be great to meet up again. (y)
