Is this a easy task? i plan to buy a diffrent stearing wheel and fit it, and also another gear stick?

For the steering wheel, slacken off (but don't remove) the centre nut and then with the side of your fist, hit the wheel at 3 o'clock, then 9 o'clock positions towards the dash (not backwards as you would think!). Do this repeatedly and the wheel will loosen.

I think the gear lever just unscrews off but I've never taken one of a Panda that I can remember.

The method for removing the horn push to reveal the locking nut depends on the age of the Panda:
early (pre '93?) just lever out.
later ones have two pozidrive screws around the back of the steering wheel holding the horn push in.

The locking nut is meant to be "staked" after tightening to stop it coming loose...

the gear knob needs to be twisted 90 degrees from normal position and then pulled sharply upward.it can be difficult but it will go

trying to find what bolts to use for some alloys i just bought...

argh... how can I get my 94 Panda gear knob off?? I want to replace it but it won't budge, i can twist it all the way around and thats about it, won't screw off

i have the same problem, i keep twisting and yanking but no avail! anyone have tips?

A review of the picture in the link you posted and the reply by Ivan C would both suggest turn 90 degrees (exactly) and pull like mad!

finally got it, its 90 degrees CLOCKWISE... not anti-clockwise like i was trying earlier, still needs a good pull though!

Do the new gearknobs screw straight onto the existing stick?

on my one it does not, it has 3 small grub screws that u use to screw it in.

I think I'll get myself a new gearknob now I know how to take the old one off. My head unit is currently the only shiny thing inside.
