General Removing Steering wheel + gear knob

For the steering wheel, slacken off (but don't remove) the centre nut and then with the side of your fist, hit the wheel at 3 o'clock, then 9 o'clock positions towards the dash (not backwards as you would think!). Do this repeatedly and the wheel will loosen.

I think the gear lever just unscrews off but I've never taken one of a Panda that I can remember.

The method for removing the horn push to reveal the locking nut depends on the age of the Panda:
early (pre '93?) just lever out.
later ones have two pozidrive screws around the back of the steering wheel holding the horn push in.

The locking nut is meant to be "staked" after tightening to stop it coming loose...

the gear knob needs to be twisted 90 degrees from normal position and then pulled sharply upward.it can be difficult but it will go :)

thanks, i will be swaping the gear stick tomorrow, not stearing wheel, motorworld dont keep any in stock in my local store!

trying to find what bolts to use for some alloys i just bought...

i have the same problem, i keep twisting and yanking but no avail! anyone have tips?

A review of the picture in the link you posted and the reply by Ivan C would both suggest turn 90 degrees (exactly) and pull like mad! :)

on my one it does not, it has 3 small grub screws that u use to screw it in.
