Gray Panda 4x4 F433LVU with black roof bars, stolen between 8pm and 11pm last night in Hillsborough, Sheffield. Please keep an eye out if you are local. Needless to say I am gutted

Sorry to hear that, I guess they're a prime target for some joyrider who wants to get home in the snow, so easy to break into. Hope it's found in one piece and returned to you soon.

Will keep em Peeled.I'd keep an eye out on Ebay.Case it gets ringed or broken & parts put on there.Happened to someone i knows Moggy 1000.

Will certainly keep an eye out for you, I'm only in Ecclesfield, will certainly spot a 4x4 out and about.

Where was it taken from in Hillsborough?

The police have turned up the vehicle in Handsworth. Was taken to the pound. I've seen it and it doesn't look as if it was driven off road, but the steering column has taken a beating. Its possible it could be fixed up. Insurance bound to make it a write off. :bang:

Glad it's turned up in one piece.Shouldn't be a problem getting the parts they damaged.
I think it's really important we use Steering lock devices like stop lok on our Panda's.Its going to be 'opportunist' thieves stealing our cars most of the time & they're not going to have a saw or drill with them.

Steering lock devices are useless.

Better off with an alarm and immobiliser.

Don't agree with you. There relatively cheap & stop your average scrote nicking your car.I've never had a car stolen that a Stoplok pro or Disclok on but i've had a car that was alarmed stolen. Both those steering locks i mentioned are thatcham approved. It's not gonna be the professional ringer that nicks your panda to end up in europe.

when i said disagreed i meant with you saying they were useless.I tell you what else they will stop.Someone f*****g your door lock up trying to nick your car unaware that you have an alarm on it.If they see the steering lock device that should stop them before your door is damaged.
Believe me i know what i'm talking about.I've spent time in prison talking to car thieves.
Another use for a stop lock is defending yourself.2 years ago i was in a road rage incident where 2 young lads got out of their Saxo, one armed with an axe.Believe me i was glad i had a stoplok in my hand that day.

If a scrote is determined enough to yank a door open ripping a steering lock off won't put all of them off. Steering Locks are only as strong as the weakest point, and in the Pandas case that'll be the wheel. I'm surprised your car thief fiends didn't tell you just how easier they are to remove. Fair enough disk lock type ones are a little trickier but not impossible to do fairly easily.

You've then the issue of getting it from the boot every time you park the car, and replacing it after. (n)

I'm not getting into an argument with you.We all have our opinions.I showed you respect by saying i diagreed. You just rubbished my advice.
Than you get a nice little one in about my car thief FRIENDS.I never mentioned anything about friends i said i had talked to car thieves in Prison. You never talked to people that werent your friends??? You're doing it now.

Agreed! Almost guaranteed to send a couple of youths on their way when they see a 6'2" bloke unfolding from a panda holding one of these in his hand :ROFLMAO:. Not that I would do that of course....
I personally wouldn't bother with immobilzer and alarm, would probably cost as much to fit as the panda, right?
I am glad to live in a relatively safe area, with not many troublemakers that would bother nicking an M reg panda. If i need to park my Panda in an area I am sure about, I put the stoplock-youth beating device on, and remove the little inline fuse i fitted on the ignition (y)
