I really want a snorkel, our panda's look quite rugged and a bit like mini range rovers. A snorkel would look amazing. I guess it would just be attached to the air box with flexi pipe.

Snorkels are easy, depending upon why you 'need' one.
For deepish water or low level dust, remove the air intake pipe from the air intake on your carb and redirect it via flexipipe ( to be found as 'drain-pipe' from the air intakes at each side of your windscreen) into a hole cut into the top of the side of the main heater-intake under the bonnet scoop.
For more severe conditions, take the pipe into the r.h.s. fresh air intake and then run a length of domestic wastepipe up along the side of the windscreen to the roof. When you get to the roof it's up to you. As long as the intake pipe points downwards it will be fine. How you finish this bit off depends on you. Pretty, functional.... or both ?

i am very tempted to get this, had a look round a mates suzuki sj today and quite fancy getting into offroading - and that looks like it'd do fine!
