Hi all
I'm new to Panda life having recently bought a one owner 38k kilometer 899 but it's started a strange habit
Sometimes it won't let you select gears and the pedal engages right at the bottom then it's absolutely fine and the change is sweet and light with a clutch bite about 3/4s of the way up
any ideas?

If it is occasionally fine and not at other times, I would check the cable is properly secured at both ends. If in order, it has to be something broken at the clutch, like the release bearing where it might be sticking or the housing of it spinning in the fork or something.

It is quite an unusual problem, since the release mechanism is so simple.

PROBLEM SOLVED
New clutch, one of the springs had broken and was moving around in the housing occaisionally jamming the plate!
An unusual fault!
