Hi
Having replaced the door lock on my Panda CLX I broke the L shaped nylon clip that connects the lock operating rod to the internal door handle. Has anyone any idea where I might get one, the local Fiat dealer here in France laughed and suggested I take the car to the local tip and buy a new car instead, nice people!!. Breakers yards in France do not hang on to non French stuff so none of the 3 "local" breakers have a Fiat of any description in. I have glued it together twice but it doesn't last long and then I have to open the window and open it from outside which is not a great idea. If anyone has one I will happily pay for postage and buy them a drink, failing that any ideas where to get one.

Thanks
Kevin

Hi David

Thanks for that, unfortunately the thing broke but its the white plastic thing which attaches the plastic door rest mounted door handle to the thin metal operating rod, It has an oval hole in one end, a hole through the middle so you can slide it onto the metal rod, then part of it is a spring clip so it secures to the metal rod. Basically it pushes onto the metal rod which has a 90 degree bend in it, then swivels round to clip onto the same rod. The door handle has a metal part with an elongated hole which fits over the plastic clip. If I took a picture of the half I have left I'm fairly certain it wouldnt help. The whole thing is less than an inch long, is a 90 degree bend and mine is white which I would imagine is the normal colour. I'm very grateful for your help in this, got wet again today opening the blasted door with the window down wind always blows in just the right direction every time.

Kind regards
Kevin
