Hi,
I've just worked out one of the reasons I'm getting a poor mpg on my panda. The main reason would be the sieve like fuel tank, but another reason would be the Yokohama Mud and Snow tyres that are fitted. Th standard circumference of Panda wheels is 170cm. The ones we have fitted are around 185cm wich is 8.8% more. That means the speedo is going to be off by that amount. This is probably a stupid question but is there any way of adjusting this? Or possibly fitting a second accurate speedo in series?
Cheers
Ben

I'm afraid I can't help you on the adjustment front, I recently refitted my speedo cable and couldn't see anything for tuning it. However, I need to track down some of those Yokohama deep profile tyres, any ideas people?

Sorry my friend, your speedo is designed (allegedly) to be 'tamper-proof' ;) .

My panda comes with a michelin xm+s 145/80 R13, and now have another tires, nortenha, 175/70 R13, they are bigger than the others, but the speed show in the speedo is now almost correct when mesaure it with a gps, the speed is -2 km/h.
