I've installed a fair few parts in my panda in an attempt to simplify and generally improve the look of the air intake and filter system. The pics should show you what i've come up with but I wanted to make sure I havn't done anything stupid.

I know that there is no way to draw hot air over the exhaust manifold now but the cylinder that regulated this in the airbox was broken to start with and it became a manual affair! I'd be grateful to know if anything dramatic needs changing but she runs so well now, its like a new car!

Thanks for your reply, I'm pretty happy with this system, although it took a lot of work to get it fixed and the parts weren't exactly easy to find (I think the filter might be from an original mini) its definitely worth the effort!

The small aluminium tube T piece in the photos and the filter mounting bracket I made myself.

I guess these parts aren't exactly expensive, but the results they give is fairly impressive! Its just a case if hunting them out on the Internet, I can't imagine another of these air filters appearing on ebay anytime soon!

I've found a few filters on ebay, the same as the one I used but a tad more expensive, and they are from a mini.

Probably a good idea to check the intake diameter is about the same as the carb intake before buying though.
