Well, this will be a challenge!

I drove the Panda home, about 10 miles or so with the handbrake stuck fast! Overall it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Most of the floorpan needs replaced, the sills are in a bad way and the arches are frilly. That's the worst of it. All the Sisley trim is complete, the roof rack appears to be original Fiat equipment and the 4X4 engages. I'm off to warm up the welder.

No doubt I'll have plenty of questions for you. Wish me luck! :)

you will get the underside sorted soon enough :p

does everything work on it, the gearstick on my one was floppy as anything and 4x4 used to pop up every so often, you got a silver canoe man on the steering wheel, i dont think i had him silver :(

Apart from what you said the car looks in good condition for its age!

The interior looks mint!!! (y)

Good luck with it sounds like a fun project. Why do I love those wheels - so basic but they just suit the car down to the ground for some reason!

That's good to hear. Although the underneath may be shot, the top looks in much better condition than mine........and I'm proud of mine !
Looking good.
I'll check out the gear linkages on the one I'm aquiring soon and let you know.

I`m all excited and it`s not even my project, how sad is that?

Very pleased that my friend Chris at Betacar is making so many people happy on this forum !
Ask him questions...he knows everything about Fiats and Lancias; anything that I can't do I send to him and he helps to keep our cars on the road. A very fine man !
