Evening all

I've been having a few 'fun' moments recently on these snowy roads, not due to the snow - due to the electrics flickering.

I hear that the electrical problems are common with the pandas. Are there any good tricks/tips/common places to find the faulty connections?

I'm hoping somebody is going to tell me that there is one location on the car that just needs a little twist and all will be fine forever....

Cheers

Hello all

Sorry for the late response, I've been strangely busy.

So I assume the hedgehog is the connector where the wires connect to the bodywork just in front of the battery.

I shall have a look and give it all a good cleaning. It's not too bad yet, I've only confused a few other drivers by mad bursts of flashing at them!

Cheers for your help.

Hay Conor

There is another hedgehog on the passenger side right behind the headlight and in front of the washer bottle.

Cleaning has a good chance to work but in my case the earths had been that bad the spade connectors were shot and the wires had started to turn black.

That was why I soldered them all into one and earthed them via a terminal conector.

You would likely get away with just cuting the wire, removing the outer insulation and cleaning the copper with wire wool then replacing the spade conector. I wanted a more solid joint that would not blacken again which is why I didnt try that first.

Good luck with it!!
