i just bought a bargain panda, £300 tax and test, good nick and runs well.

Theres a problem though. i hear its a common fault on the panda's but i need a windscreen wiper motor/spindle. and i need some plastic trim for the left door hinge. i also would like a rear wiper motor, spindle and arm as the panda came with this optional and it does not have one. i will post some pictures of my panda so you can see the condition. Please if anyone has any spares i will make an offer on what ever i you have

Please help me finish my little car!

Also how do i get the radio out? and how can i replace a passenger side door lock.

Hello Panda Pete.

I may have a rear wiper motor and arm, a spare door lock, and the hinge trim if you want. I'll check tomorrow.

Wiring should be in place for the rear wipe iirc, and you'll just need the switch (which I can supply also ).

go get the radio out just put a screwdriver under one of the front edges to leaver it up then pull it out by hand. nothing fancy. failing a screwdriver tesco clubcard fobs work a treat

The radio has a lip, i cant get a screwdriver behind it, i need to make a tool to push through some small holes which apparntly came with it but didnt come with the car. i laid down and got a peek behind it and tried to jimmy it out with a screwdrive but that failed, i dont mind my cassette player, but i have only one beatles cassette! :bang:

Need to see a photo of it to know what you have really. If though, you have two small holes on either side, you will need to insert a tool thats made for the job, you can get them from any car accessory shop for a couple of quid. You get two of them, they are U shaped and one goes in each side to retract the lugs that hold the radio in. They then act as handles to pull the radio out.
If this doesn't sound like the system you have, get us a picture.

You could probably make the tools from a wire coat hanger if you wanted

works perfectly for me, wire coat hangers push them in the holes, behind them slightly outwards and the unit comes out

wooden kebab sticks work too. where you get wire coat hangers? they seem rarer than pandas these days

ours dont, they gone all plastic, thats why i never see a wire one no more
mrs dave found me one in a wardrobe at work an i keep it in a safe place now, ready for one of its many uses that is not putting a shirt on it

Local pound shop had 10 for £1 iirc not to long ago.
