Hi Guys!

It has been a while since i have had a post... New baby and house...

My mate and I have 12 Pandas - mostly 4x4s, i remember posting on 'How many Pandas thread' a while ago...

Anyway, for those who care (as we know we all do!) - they are all good except for 1 - Bash (J Plate Sisley II in Red), he bascially could not take another Winter (even in his barn with friends) - the scottish highland abandoment for 5 years rotted him through good and proper!

The post... The time has come for me to start work on my long awaited project my 2WD 1994 SR Parade...(BTW she was saved from the scrappy as the clutch had gone) I have sourced a Mk1 Punto 1242 16v engine :yum:, ECU, fuel pump, EBC discs + red stuff pads... etc (other great fiatforum links) but I am now starting my purchase run of the styling!

I have sourced 14" Punto steels and 175x50x14 rubber.

Has any forum member dropped their Panda by 40mm with the above wheel size/rubber combination? The rolling diameter is the same just wondered if their is any steering lock issues etc!

If not no problem, as previous posts I'll send a few pictures when she is running - oh yes, as a Nurburgring go'er she'll be doing a lap and photo's will be taken + posted (y)

Good to post one...

They will be fine. Sounds like a perfect swap with standard rolling radius and a sensible, cheap swap overall. You will probably find you need 5mm spacers on the rear.

See this very recent thread for pics of 15" wheels on 40mm dropped Panda.
