Can someone please confirm that its screw IN to weaken & screw OUT to richen the mixture/co ?? (Fire engine 999 / standard Weber carb)

its best to go garage with an exhaust gas analyzer to have this done, nice garage only ask for a drink to do it

Also make sure the air filter is in reasonable condition, or it will push up the CO reading. Might be worth checking the ignition timing and points as well?

as a rough set up with the engine running at normal temp screw it in slowly until the engine note changes the turn it back out one full turn, this should be ok until you can get it checked properly.
