Any of you ever had to fit a bonnet release lever is it possible just to change the lever or is it a complete change?

Lever in car is changeable on its own iirc, but not 100% sure.

there is a metal clamp holding the wire into the lever. if you can get this off then you could replace the lever. if not it'd be a complete change - not too difficult though. might take an hr.

Cheers for that a new driver in this extended family is a bit heavy handed but never mind will all get some problems with these little gems and I get all my son in law's to sort out.
