Does the 4x4 Panda have rubber hoses that can be chainged for braided ones? I got a set for my panda but i have solid lines on the back so have these left over and was just a bit confused of where they are meant to go.:yum:

the flexi hoses go where the movement is, so because the rear brakes are mounted to a solid axle the brake lines are solid right into the rear cylinders. Follow the brake lines back and the flexi hoses will be where the brake lines leave the rear axle/ driveshaft and join to the bodywork. On the 2x4s the join is at the front end of the omega beam but I'm not up on the 4x4 layout I'm afraid, suspect it'll be toward the front end of the propshaft near the bulkhead to minimise the movement. How's my guesswork 4x4 folks?

Hi there, I'll be doing this soon. But basically, there is only one on the rear of a 4x4. The 2 solid pipes coming along the rear axle join at a little splitter which then goes off to the front. The flexible pipe is just left of the fuel tank. I am pretty sure of this, but I only ever worked on mk1 pandas, so there is a chance they changed something. I beleive the 4x4's stayed mechanically the same though from mk1 to mk2.

Hope this helps.

Si

Mk2 is the same. Single flexi-hose coming from the centre(ish) of the back axle to a rigid pipe on the bodywork next to the fuel tank.

EDIT:

Here's a picture which may prove helpful:
