Over the years I have taken off bits of the plastic trim that run down the side of the car. (Think it's only the 4x4 Pandas that have it)

Anyway I would like to put it back on but need the special trim clips, like what you can see here. 8, 9, 13

Question: Is Fiat the only place i'm likely to be able to get these from? I did buy some generic ones from Halfrauds once upon a time but they're not quite right.

I've swapped doors over a couple of times and have had to fit those clips to doors which aren't drilled with the mounting holes. The only way I've got the clips off the old doors is to cut them flush with the doorskin, and then attach them to the new door with self tappers. Seems to work OK (none have fallen off yet). I have a few of these "half" clips spare if they are any good to you, although if your car has the holes I guess they won't work!

Thanks for the suggestions. I spent a good chunk of the day looking for trim clips, prooving somewhat of a PITA. First port of call was Fiat, typically not very helpful, whilst they had the parts I needed they all had a minimum order quantity (50 units) so I would be looking at about £80. Didn't have any luck at the motorfactors and body shops i visited either.

<rant> Why are car companies so useless? They all deserve to go bust. Would force them to sort their lives out. It's ridiculous that the parts I need exist but arn't practical to aquire. They could easily have a big online store that sold spare parts for all their vehicles. An EPER system to select parts, all done online. Easy. And would largely do away with the useless dealer and human aspects. </rant>

So I came home and have taken a punt on stuff that looks about right on ebay..... fingers crossed.... Almost certainly won't be right so my next plan of attack will be the self tapers like aquamarine suggested.

Autoworld in Chesterfield can supply a bag (think it was 20) for about £20 +VAT last time I asked.
