Thanks(y)

Since I have started asking questions: Is the sparewheel supposed to be
all loose under the hood or should it be tightend down with some kind of screw / wingbolt or something. Offcourse when hood is closed it wont go anywhere but when hood is open it is loose. Thinking that in an crash there will be a lot of energy to the front and the sparewheel might become a flying missile.......If hood opens in the crash:(

30mph head on accident with dads selecta, and spare wheel faired better than the NSF wheel :p

Trust me, if the accident is sever enough for the spare wheel to become a missile, your infortuntly not going to know much about it.

Yep, the spare wheel just sits there. I think the 4x4's have a fixing but not sure.

Indeed.

She's now sold.

The new owner is collecting her in the morning.
She's a member on here but isn't very active, and already a panda owner looking to replace her current one. So i'm sure you might see her on here with the Fizz in the future hopefully.

i'll still be about on the forum as i still have a fiat and in here so i want be gone for good. and i'll be down at any panda meets too i'm sure. you jsut wont be able to keep up :p well a few of you might

you jsut wont be able to keep up :p well a few of you might

That's fighting talk!!:D

You do realise that a WELL driven 999 Panda can keep up with almost anything; it might not be able to overtake but that's normally enough to scare the locals...........

You should know this though.... as an ex-Panda driver...

All the best and only teasing!!!! Luke. (y)

P.S. almost is relative and I'm feeling optimistic!!!!!!!!!! ;)

PPS I've got a MK1 Punto 75 and I dare say it's a whole heap faster than your deisel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The scum son of my next door neighbour has scratched my new paintwork on my boot on the Marbella. I have no evidence for if i did, i would be prosecuting him. It took me three attempts to get a good finish!! I am only glad that he has scratched it in the area the number plate will cover- however, it will be seen as it is longer than the number plate. It has gone right to the metal.

He is a !*#@

On purpose?

Little **** regardless.

In the world of Panda, mine broke down at the front of the traffic lights for about the 8th time in rush hour. God I must be popular! hahah

Little crank sensor fell out (need a new one) and it kills the engine dead.

Majorly annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he was only supposed to get a little love to get through mot, but now he getting stuff thats not part of mot or cant even be seen at mot time, i think he spoilt.

i should have taken some before pics, all the bit of metal where boot door seal goes near the catch was not there before, has all rusted away

and he even got his doors done, could do with some new bits of underlay, never see any off cuts in a skip when you need them

I finally started striping the Donor Selecta with ruined gearbox yesterday. Rain stopped play today, but just got front seats, fusebox/wiring loom, steering column and carpet to remove from inside car.

Then exhaust and fuel tank, before dropping engine and gearbox and removing doors and boot hatch, then done. I think about 2 more days max.

A bit :( really at killing another, but she's in no state for an MOT, especially with the gearbox gone :p

Remember to drain the oil this time Jon!!!!

Done it today between showers. Not managed much else due to the rain :(

CVT oil should be blood red (or look slightly watered down). Oil that came out of gearbox was like used engine oil with a very faint red tinge. Not sure if that why the box went or as a result of. The latter I suspect :p

Had to change a CV boot yesterday morning before work. The same one I swapped a fortnight ago:bang: the top pleat was just rubbing on the bottom of the shock and had worn straight through and covered everything in moly grease:yuck:
fun times half an hour before Grumbleweed had to take me to work and I was still trying to persuade the stupid fiddly circlip to release the cv joint from the driveshaft:mad: Made it to work on time...just.
