Technical Help wanted - Scale Drawing of a Panda

[Most Easterly Pandas]

Has anyone got a scaled drawing, or seen one somewhere on the net, of a Panda Shell.

I want it to be able to put into a CAD package to be able to scale down and then model for its air-o-dynamics.

Google images "fiat panda blueprint" you get it from side front back and top iirc and its got marks on it for dimensions too!

Yep, my lecture want it to be able to ad bits with the CAD software to make it more aerodynamic

All confuses me, but he thinks it might help if we base it on something I know

Coming soon to a Panda in the East, a massive spoiler on the front of the bonnet, or something silly like that

Will post some print screens if we get it all into CAD

Curves, Thats what a panda needs!

Fornt and rear wings only really help downforce.. for aerodynamics you need a smooth, flowing surface. Therefore reducing the drag co efficent

A friend had "lambo" doors on his scooby.. They're really for show use, he had them on day to day and they buggered up so fast. i don't even think they look good.. and a pain to shut from the inside!!

The sharp angles on a Panda are not aero-dynamicaly ideal. I expect you'll see a big vortex coming off the top edge off the windscreen over the roof, which basically increases the frontal area of the car as you have to push the vortex through the air too.

The worst thing you can have are the old water gutters above the windscreen like you get on minis, landrovers, VW campers, etc. That will cause a massive vortex effectively doubling the frontal area of the vehicle. Not good for mpg!
