Just got back from the fizz and turns out the timing belt has snapped :bang:

Can't remember if there is some feature stopping the top end from now being knackerd?????

Just going to check manual.......

Jim's right, they don't run in interference. Put a new belt on and it should go. My old 750 started first time, to my amazement..

Yep, it be a 'Safe' engine. Just need to re-time it up.

Would it have snapped because the water pump was frozen solid by any chance

Halfords currently have 3 for 2 on 5L engine anti freeze and the stuff isn't half bad

Might be worth a change on all of your Panda's Kev?

Surely Kev would need more than 15L to do all of his Panda's. His fleet is growing much like yours

Ah, needs to be in a 4:1 Water:coolant mix so should easily make a good 60L

I've used one 5L and changed the coolant in both Seletca's and my Sisley

And Luckily I get 20L drums from work which the carwash soap comes in, so when empty, I collect them, clean them out, and can easily make a nice large decent mix .

Cheers guys....the others ARE done!!! I think the belt had gone before i arrived as he said it would not start on ebay. Looks like he tried to start it wheen frozen and bust the belt like you say Jon....Numbnut!!!!!
