Hi all,
I have a question for all of you 4X4 panda owners. Do your cars have skid plates covering the engine/transmission? Any info would be helpful.

Hi, We are currently running two 4x4's. They don't have 'skid-plates'. Both have steel struts which run under the engine and box to protect the soft bits. One of them has a bull-bar fitted to the front fixing and a wire-mesh cover to keep out the weeds !
I am currently having semi-skid plates and winch- brackets made for the front bull-bars for both cars.....but it's taking some time for an unknown reason !
What do you want to know ?

pandafan,
Would it be possible for you to send me some pics of the way it is set up. I am guessing what this set up looks like, but pics would be very helpful. Also when you get the new skid plates could you put up some pics of them. Hopefully they get finished up for you. One other thing about the 4X4 models. Are the front end components heavier then the regular pandas? Thanks for the info so far.
